The REVISED CVHS Spring Block Schedule dated 5-5-10 has been posted under the “Quick Links” menu at www.cvhs.com . This revised schedule now incorporates the board-approved teacher furlough/student free days, as well as changes to our school’s daily block schedules in order to accommodate these days and balance class period meetings:
Important changes to note include:
• Teacher furlough/non-student day on Friday, May 28th (no school).
• Changes to the daily period schedule for the week of May 24 – 28 to accommodate the shortened week; note that Monday, May 24th is now a 1-3-5 block day and NOT a “traditional” period 1-6 day.
• Teacher furlough/non-student day on Tuesday, June 1st (no school).
• Changes to the daily period schedule for the week of May 31 – June 4 to accommodate the shortened week; note there is now a “traditional” period 1-6 schedule for Wednesday, June 2nd instead of a 1-3-5 block schedule.
• Teacher furlough/non-student day on Friday, June 11th (no school).
• Changes to the daily period schedule for the week of June 7 – 11 to accommodate the shortened week; note that Monday, June 7th is now a 1-3-5 block day and NOT a “traditional” period 1-6 day, and that zero period will now meet on Tuesday, June 8th in order to balance zero period meetings.
• The teacher furlough day on Thursday, June 24th does NOT affect students because the last day of school was always (and still remains) Wednesday, June 23rd.
NOTE: There are NO CHANGES to the ending date of school or graduation (both remain Wednesday, June 23rd).
