| Person-Centered Thinking is a new approach that is influencing all services provided by Regional Center of Orange County. All RCOC employees and many of the vendors have been trained in this approach.
We are offering this shortened training to parents which will provide you with the basic concepts of Person Centered Thinking (PCT); this will shape your child’s IPP and services in the future. Parents have found this is to be a very beneficial workshop and we hope you will join us.
Regional Center of Orange County (RCOC) is one of 21 private, nonprofit organizations contracted by the State of California through the Department of Developmental Services to coordinate life-long services and supports for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. The regional center is the first stop for individuals and families seeking to obtain local services and supports to help them live safely and with dignity in the community. Currently, RCOC serves over 20,000 Orange County’s children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families. Developmental disabilities include autism, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, and intellectual disabilities. Click here for a directory of all of California’s regional centers and the areas they serve.
