Realtor Phil Immel to Board
Dana Point, CALIF., – The Ocean Institute is pleased to welcome Phil Immel, founder of The Immel Team, to its Board of Directors.
“Phil is a talented business professional who supports our mission at the Ocean Institute,” remarked Dan Stetson, the Ocean Institute’s president. “We’re pleased he has joined our board, and look forward to making use of his talents to better serve the many school children who visit the Institute each year.”
Immel became a licensed real estate agent at age 19, and a broker at 21. He has had a long and successful career in the industry. He was the #8 agent out of 60,000 across the United States, and #1 in Orange County for nearly a decade. He served as a vice president at Coldwell Banker, and is today a Director of Prudential California Realty’s luxury property division and represents major banks as a listing broker for their bank-owned/REO properties. Prudential designated him a “Legend” for his 15 years of top broker performance.
Immel is also known as the “Real Estate Guru” in the media, having been featured in both the print and broadcast media.
Founded in 1977, the Ocean Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to ocean preservation through education, setting the standard for educational excellence and serving as a leading resource for universities, museums, teachers and all others seeking to increase their knowledge of the ocean. The Ocean Institute is open to the general public on weekends, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Cost: $6.50 adults, $4.50 children (ages 4-12), Ocean Institute members free.
