The Sweetwater Creek Band will entertain shoppers at the holiday Artisan Faire on Saturday, December 13.
With Dan Elliott on fiddle, Irish bouzouki, mandolin and recorders; John Adams on guitar and banjo; and Susan Lachner on fiddle, mandolin, guitar and accordion, the Sweetwater Creek Band interweaves different nationalities of folk music such as Irish, Scottish, Cajun and Swedish with traditional Bluegrass and gospel tunes. This local trio is known for prompting audiences to sing, clap and dance to timeless, fun music.
The group has played at coffee houses, farmers markets, street fairs, libraries and art festivals throughout Orange County and beyond.
Along with live entertainment, the Artisan Faire will feature Laguna Hills Nursery and a host of crafts vendors selling an array of special handmade items perfect for holiday gifts.
The family event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. near Saddleback Lanes in the Mission Viejo Village Shopping Center at 25402 Marguerite Parkway.
The Artisan Faire takes place the third Saturday of every month. It is sponsored by the City’s Cultural Arts Committee, Mission Viejo Friends of the Arts and Saddleback Lanes.
