Public review period extended for Aliso Viejo Ranch site development

Date:

The city of Aliso Viejo is re-releasing the environmental document regarding the Aliso Viejo Ranch site for an additional 30-day public review.

The document, known as the Draft Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND), identifies the potential environmental impacts associated with building a multipurpose community facility on the 7-acre ranch at the southern end of Aliso Viejo. (Detailed project information is available here.)

The City Council has not approved any specific project for the site.

The additional public review period is from Thursday, Aug. 14 through Monday, Sept. 15.  The IS/MND is available for review at City Hall, 12 Journey; the Aliso Viejo Library at 1 Journey; and online at http://www.cityofalisoviejo.com.

Written comments can be submitted by 5 p.m. Sept. 15 to the City of Aliso Viejo, Department of Planning Services at 12 Journey, Suite 100, Aliso Viejo, 92656. Comments can also be faxed to 949-425-3899 or emailed to eroess@cityofalisoviejo.com.
