Reservations are now available for the fun-filled Camp Out on Oso Creek Trail October 18-19.
The Camp Out, which attracts hundreds of campers, gives folks the chance to enjoy the great Mission Viejo outdoors. It brings people of all ages together for an evening of music, skits, sing-a-longs, a flashlight hike and other cool activities.
This year, the City has added an educational component featuring a hike with local naturalist Mike Clayton.
The event begins at 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, but campers can arrive at 3 p.m. to begin setting up their camp sites. The fun ends the next day at 10 a.m.
Dinner and breakfast are provided and participants should bring a sleeping bag, flashlight, water bottle and tent. Pets are not allowed. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
