Renaissance ClubSport, Orange County’s top athletic club for individuals and families, has partnered with the Wounded Warrior Project to help raise money for injured service members. The fundraiser, starting May 26 and running through July 4, will kick off with a members-only Memorial Day Weekend barbeque on Sunday, May 26 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the club’s pool located at 50 Enterprise, Aliso Viejo, CA 92656.
Members looking to help the club reach its $8,000 fundraising goal can participate by placing donations in designated containers located throughout the club or by purchasing a Wounded Warrior Project fundraiser tee shirt ($25) or souvenir cup ($1). Renaissance members can also honor and support America’s heroes by joining the Tabata on the Turf group class, a challenging outdoor workout that combines functional movements performed at a high intensity. A donation of $25 will secure a spot in the class and a Wounded Warriors Project fundraiser tee shirt. All donations will go directly to the Wounded Warriors Project.
“With May being ‘National Military Appreciation Month’ Renaissance ClubSport Aliso Viejo felt it was important to give back to those that protect our country,” said Chris Collett, Director of Club Operations. “The Wounded Warrior Project fundraiser is a way for our members to work out while honoring those that have sacrificed so much.”
