The Movie Mondays Summer Tradition Returns to
Segerstrom Center for the Arts
2013 summer movie line-up includes:
• The Wedding Singer – July 8
• Buena Vista Social Club – July 15
• The Lion King – July 22
• The Phantom of the Opera – July 29
• Evita – August 5
Patina Catering will offer special themed menus for each movie
The five famous films in this year’s line-up include: The Wedding Singer, a romantic comedy paying homage to the awesome decade of the ’80s; the documentary Buena Vista Social Club, profiling the legendary Cuban musicians who came out of retirement to reunite and perform together once again; Disney’s The Lion King, the animated musical that celebrates the “Circle of Life”; The Phantom of the Opera, the winner of last summer’s Audience Favorite Online Poll; and Evita, starring Madonna and Antonio Banderas, will conclude the 2013 Movie Mondays series.
