The Saddleback College Forensics Team competed at California Community College Forensics Association (CCCFA) State Championships on March 18th through the 22nd in Concord, California. Co-Team Director Larry Radden stated, “We have only begun with the medals. I can’t wait to see the National Results.” According to Heidi Ochoa, Co-Team Director, “We are so proud of the students! I’ve never seen such a poised and dedicated group. The students and coaches are thrilled for Nationals.”
Several new students immediately made a splash garnering several medals for Saddleback.

Andrew Ronquillo- Gold Medal: Communication Analysis, Silver Medal: Persuasion Speaking, Silver Medal: Extemporaneous Speaking
Olivia Noceda- Gold Medal: Dramatic Interpretation, Bronze Medal: Reader’s Theatre
Madison Dixson- Silver Medal: Informative Speaking
Dylan Lappin- Bronze Medal: Poetry Interpretation
Carolina Beyer-Flores- Bronze Medal: Dramatic Interpretation
Maria Zakhar-Bronze Medal: Prose Interpretation, Bronze Medal: Reader’s Theatre
Robert Mayer- Bronze Medal: Impromptu Speaking
Andrew Johnson- Bronze Medal: Reader’s Theatre
Jackson Lee Spencer- Bronze Medal Reader’s Theatre
Brittany Jarrett- Bronze Medal: Dramatic Interpretation
