The Saddleback College Speech and Debate team competed at the PSCFA League Championships on February 22-24 at Cal State Long Beach.
Co-Director of Forensics Larry Radden stated, “This is the first time that all of our Senior Members for the State and Nationals squad were able to compete at the same tournament and the results were spectacular! We are ecstatic about the team’s success and are excited to be heading to the State Tournament in March.”
Co-Director of Forensics Heidi Ochoa stated, “This year’s team is comprised of heavy-hitting, highly motivated performers. Never in the history of Saddleback forensics have we trained such a collaborative, spirited, and talented group. The force that is emerging between all of them is impressive. They take criticism to the chin. They support each other. They want to win. Their work ethic demonstrates the winning desire and the coaches expect nothing less.”
