February 14, 2009: Celebrate Valentine’s Day at the Ocean Institute
Dana Point, The Ocean Institute is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a “Sea of Love” program on Saturday, February 14, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Visitors can enjoy expanded exhibits, and find out the answers to such questions as: Are there ocean animals that have a single partner for life? What does a whale’s love song sound like?
Visitors can also make their sweethearts ocean-themed valentines and enjoy sweet treats. The program is free with paid admission to the Institute ($4.50-$6.50), and free to members. For additional information about the Institute, visit www.ocean-institute.org or call (949) 496-2274.

2008 Business of the Year – The Dana Point Chamber of Commerce has selected the Ocean Institute as Dana Point’s “Business of the Year.” The award recognizes the positive contribution the Ocean Institute has made to the Dana Point community.
