WALK FOR WISHES TO BENEFIT THE MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION: More than 1,000 participants are expected to take part in the second annual Walk for Wishes Presented by SeaWorld on Saturday, Feb. 26 at Rose Marie Starns South Shores Park, raising money to make dreams come true for children with life-threatening illnesses. Participants will choose either the 1-mile or 4-mile walk, which both begin at Rose Marie Starns South Shores Park and continue through SeaWorld. While in the park, walkers will be greeted by costume characters, flamingos and other SeaWorld animals, who will entertain and encourage participants along the festive route.
