What’s happening right now at SeaWorld:
Summertime is the best time at SeaWorld with extended hours, fireworks and special shows under the stars like Shamu Celebration: Light up the Night and the hilarious Sea Lions Tonite through Sept. 5. The party kicks into high gear select dates now through Aug. 14 when Summer Vibes reverberate through Mission Bay Theater, with three amazing international variety acts live on the stage. Fighting Gravity, a group combines black light illusions with dance, will mesmerize audiences Aug. 6–14. Visit the park’s website for a complete schedule.

Spread across 190 acres on beautiful Mission Bay Park, SeaWorld is known for spectacular animal shows, interactive attractions, aquariums, rides, beautiful landscaping and education programs for all ages:
• Animal exhibits include Explorer’s Reef™ featuring interactions with shark pups, ray, and cleaner fish; Turtle Reef, 280,000-gallon turtle aquarium, interactive game, touch-screen turtle map and ride; Shark Encounter® with nearly a dozen species of sharks; Penguin Encounter® with more than 350 penguins representing five species; and Wild Arctic with polar bears, beluga whales and walruses.
• Shows include One Ocean® and Killer Whales: Up Close featuring the park’s killer whales; Sea Lions LIVE, a hilarious sketch-based comedy show starring California sea lions Clyde® and Seamore®; and Dolphin Days, featuring bottlenose dolphins and pilot whales).
• Rides include Manta®, a multi-media, double-launch coaster; Journey to Atlantis®, a wet and wild water coaster; and Shipwreck Rapids® water raft ride.

Tickets and parking:
Parking, $11 to $21. Admission for ages 10 and older is $89; for ages 3–9, $83; children under 3, free. Great deals available online, including $10 off on Fun Card, which includes repeat admission to the park through 2016.
