Mother’s Day Dolphin Discovery Cruise – This Mother’s Day, give your mom an experience she won’t soon forget! Join the captain and crew of the research vessel Sea Explorer as you cruise alongside local wildlife. Sea lions and marine birds are a sure thing. You are also likely to encounter dolphin that are coastal residents and maybe even a whale. Cookies, pastries, coffee, and tea are provided. 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. $35 adult, $22 child.
Mother’s Day Brunch Sail (ages 4+) – Treat your mom to a fun and scrumptious morning brunch while sailing aboard the traditional wooden schooner Spirit of Dana Point. Join the ship’s crew in raising the sails and steering the vessel or simply sit back and relax as you experience the beautiful scenery of the southern California coast. 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. $55 adult, $30 child.
Mother’s Day Afternoon Sail (ages 4+) – Sail with mom on the majestic tallship Spirit of Dana Point. Hoist sail, steer the ship or take it easy and enjoy a beautiful afternoon on the water. Light refreshments included. 2 – 4:30 p.m. $38.50 adult, $21.50 child.

Father’s Day Adventure at Sea (ages 4+) – Sign aboard for an exciting voyage on a real tallship. First, you and dad will join the crew in handling lines and raising sails. Then, you will enjoy a delicious meal prepared onboard by our ship’s cook. After, you may help steer the ship, listen to stories of legend and lore, or just sit back and enjoy being out on the open ocean. This thrilling sail will create memories you’ll not soon forget. 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. $45 adult, $35 child.
Father’s Day Blue Whale Discovery Cruise – While onboard the research vessel Sea Explorer, enjoy a wonderful afternoon with Ocean Institute scientists as they introduce you to wildlife along southern California’s coastline, including a wide variety of birds, fish, microscopic plankton, and animals that live in sediment retrieved from the ocean floor. Encounter a pod of playful dolphin or cruise alongside a passing whale. Light pastries, cookies, and coffee will be provided. 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. $35 adult, $22 child.
