Top Classified Staff Named Honored Awards Ceremony
“On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I take great pleasure in congratulating the six winners and all the nominees for their well-deserved recognition at this year’s program,” said Board President John M. Alpay.
“Our classified employees are an integral part of the district’s educational mission in supporting our children’s academic achievement, health, nutrition, and safety.” At the ceremony hosted at Capistrano Valley High School, 105 nominees were recognized and winners in six categories were announced.
The winners are:
* Office and Technical – Donna Yount, Elementary School Clerk, Reilly Elementary School
* Para-Educator and Instructional Assistance – Karen Walker, Independence Facilitator, Adult Transition Program
* Child Nutrition – Colleen Lamb, Lead Food Service Worker, Capistrano Valley High School
* Maintenance and Operations – Marcos Gutierrez, Maintenance Pool Technician, Maintenance and Operations
* Transportation – David Armitage, School Bus Driver
* Support Services and Security – Stephanie Zenisek, Middle School Library Media Technician, Shorecliffs Middle School
“I would like to recognize all of our classified employees for their dedication and hard work to our District,” added District Superintendent Joseph Farley.
