About Joel Woodward

Aliso Viejo, California-based artist Joel Woodard’s work is driven by the question of what imagery is possible within the bounds of traditional media in our fast-paced and technologically-driven world. Through a convergence of graphic shapes, patterns, symbols, and gestured abstraction, Woodward explores the primitive and the nature of evolution and emergence.
