Sixteen and older youth from the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints ( Mormon) had the time of their lives at a Multi Stake Spring Formal on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the Bell Tower in RSM.

The theme was “A Night at the Oscars”.
Cost was minimal for the youth, $20/couple or $10/pp at the door. LDS dances are known for their uplifting settings and modest dress standards. For example; no spaghetti straps, bare shoulders, bare midriffs, plunging necklines, tight or mini dresses.

Vintage Hollywood Dress was strongly encouraged in keeping with the theme. Double breasted suits and fedoras for men, long ball gowns and fur stoles for the ladies, showed up in force to make a believable night of glitz and glamour.
Wards (congregations) hosted dinner parties for their youth prior to the dance at homes throughout South Orange County. Parents and volunteers became master prop builders, actors, and paparazzi.

The many leaders and parents spent countless hours in preparation for the highly anticipated event. Everyone was pleased with the outcome.
