Sunday is Daylight Savings: Remember to turn your clocks AHEAD one hour Saturday night at 2:00 am.

E-WASTE COLLECTION TOMORROW!! PLEASE bring your electronic waste to the Bergeson Parking Lot tomorrow on Saturday! Did you get a new TV for Christmas? Make sure to save all of your electronic waste for our E-Waste Disposal day on the morning of Saturday, March 9. It’s only once per year and the time is HERE! Our school is paid for all of your waste by the pound and last year’s collection made about $500 for our school. Mark your calendar and bring the old DVDs, Video Players, TV’s, Microwaves and all of it right here to the Bergeson parking lot. Share the information with your friends so that they can bring their old clunker computer monitors and electronics to our disposal day, too!

CUSD HONOR CONCERTS TOMORROW:

ARTWORK FOR EDUCATION: It is time for our annual Artwork for Education fundraiser. This is the time when you get to turn your kid’s artwork into a keepsake. You can order note cards, bags, and other items. Every year, before you actually order the artwork, we need to fill out a permission form. This year, to save paper, you can do everything on-line. Just click on the link below and follow the directions. You basically type in your name and your kid’s name and the teacher. Just follow the prompts. You can enter more than one child. Go to http://www.artwise.com/campaign-details?slug=marian-bergeson-elementary-school-spring-2013 to enroll your child into our artwork fundraiser. Enrolling your child does not obligate you to purchase anything, but they do need to be signed up by Friday, March 15th. Signing this online permission slip gives the teachers permission to submit your child’s artwork to be turned into greeting cards, mugs, bags, mouse pads, and other items if you choose to purchase them. 40% profit goes to the school to help fund our music program. These make great gifts for Mother’s Day, birthdays, Hannukah and Christmas. Once the artwork has been submitted, your child’s artwork will be available online for purchase. More details will be sent to you when the items are available for purchase. If you have any questions, please call or email Laura Darm at 949 573 0400 or ldarm@cox.net

WEAR GREEN ON MARCH 15: Our Student Council is encouraging all students to wear green to school on Friday, March 15, in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. Please remember that hair dyes are not permitted at school.
