Temple Beth El Disco Ball honoring two local couples – seeking auction items & advertisers

Date:

Temple Beth El of South Orange County will host a fundraising event on May 1st, “2010 Stayin’ Alive Disco Ball.”

At this year’s Gala, we will honor two couples:
• Jane & Pete Moss (who recently were in the Saddleback Valley paper with their picture while traveling!) of Mission Viejo and
• Charlene & Ken Zuckerman of Laguna Niguel.

Right now, our focus is on soliciting contributions for auction items (they’ll be donations that are tax deductible) as well as advertisements (from businesses and/or individuals) for our event program.

A portion of the night’s proceeds will benefit the Full Inclusion Preschool Project.

On the event website, http://www.tbesoc.org/disco3.html, forms to provide auction items and/or advertisements are available.

This may be a great opportunity to tout the local residents being recognized, as well as a way for local businesses to get inexpensive advertising (through ads or through donations of services or items for the auction).

Education at Temple Beth El

Jewish learning is an exciting endeavor that continues throughout our lives. Our goal at Temple Beth El of South Orange County is to educate both children and adults in the beliefs and practices of Judaism so that they will feel passion and pride in being Jewish. As such, we promote an educational climate in which
each individual can discover and cultivate his or her own strong and lasting
Jewish identity.

Our Early Childhood Center (ECC) offers programming for children ten months through six years of age, including Mom & Me, preschool, and a full-day, accredited kindergarten program.

Our nationally recognized Religious School provides education from Pre-K to 12th grade, and includes a family program, Hebrew school and electives-based programming for middle through high school.

Our Adult Education programs include myriad opportunities for increasing your knowledge, expanding your horizons, or simply meeting new people.
