Mission Viejo / Saddleback Valley Elks Lodge No. 2444 (“Elks Lodge”) hosted the Elks Orange Coast District Scholarship competition judging. Winners of the OCD Scholarship competition will be forwarded to the California-Hawaii Elks Association (“CHEA”) for the state competition and from there to the Elks national competition.

Elks Lodge Exalted Ruler and Orange Coast District (“OCD”) Scholarship Chairperson Harvey Boelts said, “The academic achievements and levels of community service of the students in South Orange County are truly amazing.”
Elks Lodge volunteers from eight of the ten OCD Elks Lodges judging the scholarship entries were:

The Mission Viejo / Saddleback Elks Lodge No. 2444, celebrating forty-three (43) years of service to the Saddleback Valley communities, is one of ten lodges in the Orange Coast District of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE) whose headquarters is in Chicago, Illinois. The BPOE is a charitable organization with a 145 year history of giving, “Elks Care, Elks Share.”
