The Housing Element is a required element of the city’s general plan. It will set forth the city’s strategy to preserve and enhance the community’s character, expand housing opportunities for the city’s various economic segments, and provide policy guidance for decision-making related to housing. State law requires that the Housing Element is updated for the 2013-2021 planning period by October.

The public workshop provides an opportunity for the community and interested stakeholders to learn more about the Housing Element update process and to provide public input for inclusion in the Housing Element.

Proposals sought for Community Survey

The city of Aliso Viejo is seeking proposals from professional research consultants to conduct a community survey of Aliso Viejo residents. The survey is designed to measure residents’ satisfaction with City services as well as gather opinions on selected issues in the community.
