Veterans Day November 11
The ceremony is from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the Norman P. Murray Community Center. Included in this year’s program is a celebration of the 2018 Mission Viejo Veteran of the Year, with musical performances by Ssgt Rachel Bartlett.
Following the ceremony will be a reception outside on the Orchard Terrace from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Stay for light refreshments, a letter-writing activity led by students from Viejo Elementary School in Mission Viejo, and live music by young artists from the Community Outreach Alliance.
All are welcome to attend! Please help us honor our military veterans.

Veterans Day in 2018 is on Sunday, the 11th of November(11/11/2018).
In the United States, Veterans Day is usually observed on November 11. However, if it occurs on a Sunday then the following Monday is designated for holiday leave, and if it occurs Saturday then either Saturday or Friday may be so designated.
In 2018, Veterans Day falls on a Sunday, so Monday, the 12th of November is considered a federal holiday.
