Family favorite, Peter Pan, returns to Orange County April 25
Arts & Learning Conservatory brings Peter Pan the musical to the OC and non-profit groups April 25 through 27
For nearly 60 years this celebrated musical has delighted audiences of all ages, and A&L’s production, with a cast of 40 Orange County youth, promises to do the same for family, friends, and community groups. As part of A&L’s commitment to offer theater arts exposure to all children, especially those from underserved areas of Orange County, A&L sponsors are providing complimentary tickets to children from community groups in hopes of promoting interest in performance arts.
Non-profit groups include: Boys & Girls Club of Garden Grove, Olive Crest, and 120 students of the Newport-Mesa Unified School District extended day program.A few of our wonderful corporate and individual sponsors are Southern California Edison, Michael and Caryn Borland, Ruth DeNault and Mary Lyons. Hello Ms Frazier, A&L’s production offers the charm of J.M. Barrie’s original Peter Pan, complete with student actors flying up to 20 feet overhead as Tinker Bell, Peter, Wendy, Michael and John. Bringing the musical to life is a student ensemble performing memorable songs like, Never, Never Land, I Won’t Grow Up, and I’m Flying. The songs, music, and dance will have everyone believing they truly can fly. Energetic, lively scenes with the Lost Boys, pirates, Indians and mermaids showcase A&L students’ weeks of training and rehearsal.
