PAPER DONATIONS WELCOME! – DROP OFF AT WATER BOTTLE WEDNESDAY
This year with budget cuts and money being tight, our supply budget will most likely run out before the end of the year. Because of this, NHMS will most likely be short on copy paper. Any donations of copy paper (even just a ream) would be welcome and much appreciated! You can donate to your child’s teacher or to the office…it will all be put to good use. We are also now collecting paper donations at the water bottle Wednesday drop off point at the front of the school on Wednesday mornings, in case you don’t want to park and come in. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can give us in this area.

SUMMER!!!!
The YMCA offers have an incredible teen summer program that is based out of Don Juan Avila Middle School. We offer all the same great activities and resources that we do during the school year but all day long. We also have two field trips per week, great themes and activities and for the first time ever we have a three day summer plan! This summer’s theme is “Game On” and that’s exactly what we intend to do!
Service learning:
If you recall, in April, our teens set out to create a series of bracelets for women and children in shelters of all kinds. I never imagined that they would be so dedicated. We have so many bracelets to donate, I think I’ll have to find a few other places to donate. I am so proud of our teens and all of they work they have put in to our service learning projects this year. I am not sure you, as parents, know that our TAB (teen advisory board) choose and design many of our service learning projects! We have an amazing group of giving kids!!
