The Ocean Institute is pleased to announce that Mary Lawson has “come on board” as its new Director of Sales

A native Californian, USC graduate and Laguna Beach resident, Mary brings to the Ocean Institute a complement of skills and experience that will be a valuable asset in broadening its Educational Program outreach.

Mary’s unique skill set of sales, entrepreneurial and volunteer experience give her an advantage in successfully communicating the exciting opportunities that await visiting students.

Dan Stetson, the Ocean Institute’s president, said, “We are happy that Mary has joined us.  She has the passion for science education for our children and a strong affinity for the ocean environment.”

 

The Ocean Institute is a unique resource committed to making science and maritime history come alive.  Its mission statement says it all… Using the ocean as our classroom, we inspire children to learn.
