Congratulations to the following teams and individuals who captured a league title this spring.
Girls Lacrosse. This is their second in a row and they went undefeated this past spring in league. Overall they are 17-1 on the year.
Boys Tennis. The tennis team had great success this past season on all levels and were led by freshman Garret Vincent, who also won an individual tennis title in the Sea View League and senior Andrew Lo and junior Nick Wang.
Boys Track and Field. This is our first league title in boys track in over 5 years. This year the team was led by Ryan Evans, Tyler Miller and Merak Melikian.
Boys Volleyball. This is the first ever boys volleyball league title for ANHS and the team is led by Nick Amado, Dallas Lowry and Chandler Lattin.
The tennis and volleyball teams should begin the CIF playoffs next week at home for the first round on either Tuesday or Wednesday.
CIF playoffs for boys and girls swimming and boys and girls track will begin late next week with events taking place on Thursday May 9 and Saturday May 11. You can check and follow all playoff info at www.cifss.org
The Baseball and Softball regular season finishes up next Thursday. Both teams are in heated battles for league titles and CIF playoff entry births.

Our team came 2nd overall by .5pts to rival San Juan Hills. Our surf team was trying to accomplish four straight overall State Championships. Only San Clemente High School has done that with 5 straight in a row.
On Monday, Ryan Rutkowski came in 5th overall in the State Individual Body Board competition. Divisions 1 and 2 combined.
A big congrats goes out to our athletes. They represented Aliso Niguel well.
