Being a fitness trainer and speaker for over 20 plus years the biggest reason why I hear people have a hard time consistently exercising is they are TOO TIRED to even SHOW UP each day.
Two things that can help you have more energy in your daily life are exercise (once my clients SHOW UP and exercise they leave feeling energetic ) and feeding your body proper fuel building foods. I recommend a SUPERFOOD that I would like to share with you today that is inexpensive, easy to digest, and packed with a punch!
This weeks SUPERFOOD : 1. Nutritional Yeast
NUTRITIONAL YEAST:
Why is it good for you:
~ high in protein
~ high in B vitamins
~ high in Chromium( stabilizes blood sugar and regulates blood sugar levels)
~ high in Selenium (excellent antioxidant) Counteracts mercury toxicity more than anything else
~ good balance of all essential amino acids
~ rich in Niacin ( has over 100 metabolic pathways in the body) Niacin is a vasodialator which means it is a detoxifier of the skin. You may feel a “niacin rush” when you take the yeast for about 20 to 60 mins. It is a warm flushed feeling.
~ GREAT FOR ENERGY!!!!
What forms does it come in:
~ Granules, and capsules. It has a nutty buttery taste. It is also very inexpensive. You want to store it in a dark dry area. It will last about 1 to 2 years if stored this way.
Dosage:
~ Start with a tsp 1 time per day eventually you can work up to 1 tbsp per day
What can I take it with:
~ Smoothies
~ Veggie juices
~ soups and gravies
~ popcorn (spray olive oil pam on your popcorn and sprinkle the yeast over it)
