This message is sent on behalf of the Capistrano Unified School District notifying you that the district has received official notification from the California Teachers Association of the union’s intent to strike effective Thursday, April 22.
The district has been preparing for the possibility of a strike for the past several weeks and plans are in place to continue to keep schools open and provide a safe and operational educational program for our students and employees.
Schools will send site-specific information to their communities. We encourage you to visit the CUSD website at www.capousd.org to answer questions you may have regarding a strike. We will continue to update this website as new and relevant information becomes available.
