Acclaimed pianist Orli Shaham joins Pacific Symphony to perform Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 17 — considered one of his finest — on Feb. 24 at Soka Performing Arts Center in Aliso Viejo. Led by Music Director Carl St.Clair, the Sunday afternoon program also includes Mozart’s “Haffner” Symphony and the Overture to Don Giovanni.

Shaham is beloved by Symphony patrons as the charming host and featured pianist of Pacific Symphony’s Café Ludwig chamber music series. A consummate musician recognized for her grace, subtlety and vitality, she has established an impressive international reputation as one of today’s most gifted pianists. The Chicago Tribune recently referred to Shaham as “a first-rate Mozartean,” and London’s Guardian said Shaham’s playing was “perfection” during her recent Proms debut with the BBC Symphony Orchestra.
