Officers and members of Elks Lodge 2444 participated in the Veterans Memorial Dedication at Saddleback College on April 29th 2010. The Memorial is the largest and most impressive memorial honoring our Veterans on any college campus in the United States. The project was begun in 2004 under the leadership of then College President Dr. Richard D. McCullough. The Lodge was one of the proud contributors to the funding of the memorial donating $2500 to its construction. The Elk’s plaque commemorating the vets reads: “WE PAY TRIBUTE AND HONOR TO ALL VETERANS – MISSION VIEJO SADDLEBACK VALLEY ELKS LODGE 2444”
