Vocational Visions Enchanted Evening Fundraiser Honors City of Mission Viejo

Irvine, Calif. – Vocational Visions’ annual Enchanted Evening fundraiser will be held on Saturday, April 16, at the
Irvine Marriott with the theme “An Enchanted Evening…in Key West.” The City of Mission Viejo will be honored as the
organization’s 2011 Employer of the Year for their continuing commitment to providing ongoing employment
opportunities and other support to Vocational Visions and their participants.

Community leaders Linda Baird, Donna Haskill and Nancy Livingston are event co-chairs and attire is
tropical casual with live musical entertainment by Joe Rathburn’s Island Band. The event begins with a cocktail reception
and expansive silent auction with over 100 items.

An opportunity drawing features a two-night getaway to the montage Resort & Spa valued at $2500. Live
auction highlights include an at-home 5 course gourmet dinner for 8 people by Alex Neptune with wine pairings from
master sommelier Peter Neptune, and a seven night getaway at a luxurious Cabo San Lucas resort.

An evening highlight is a heartwarming musical presentation by Vocational Visions participants to the
songs “Barometer Soup” and “Day-O.”

All proceeds directly support the programs and services of Vocational Visions which provides
vocational, economic and social services to adults with disabilities.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. and tickets are $125 per person. The Irvine Marriott Hotel is located at18000 Von
Karman Ave in Irvine.

Vocational Visions has provided comprehensive vocational, economic and social services to Orange County adults with
disabilities since 1974. Based in Mission Viejo, Calif., the nonprofit organization creates possibilities for men and women
with disabilities by providing on and off-site job opportunities, a variety of social programs and rehabilitation and medical
assistance as needed. Vocational Visions serves over 450 individuals annually who have a wide range of developmental
and other disabilities.
