Volunteers are sought to take a trip back to the Old West by volunteering at the citys 4th annual Founders Day Fair on Saturday, Sept. 26.
This special day at the Ranch transforms the Aliso Viejo Ranch complete with an old barn, bunkhouse and lots of history back to its California-ranching roots from noon to 6 p.m. with blacksmithing, gold panning, rope making and more. The Aliso Viejo Ranch is at 100 Park Avenue.
The event will include live entertainment, a rock climbing wall, water balloon launch, games, demonstrations, gold panning, pony rides and much more.
Volunteers are needed to fill an array of enjoyable roles throughout the day.
The city appreciates its volunteers for giving back to the community. In fact, officials are grateful to the roughly 22 members of the Aliso Viejo-based South County Teen Center who recently raked the Aliso Viejo Ranch to clear the way for the upcoming event.
