To encourage bottle and can collection when school starts, we will be giving away FREE IN-N-OUT BURGER TICKETS, FREE BAJA FRESH TACO CERTIFICATE, FREE PICK UP STIX MEAL CERTIFICATES and more during the month of September, beginning next week!
Please be sure to give your child’s name AND 1st period homeroom teacher’s name upon drop-off. The class with the most bottles and cans collected through September will win a PIZZA PARTY (one for each grade level!) THE FAMILY WITH THE MOST COLLECTED DURING SEPTEMBER WILL ALSO WIN DINNER FOR FOURT AT NY’s UPPER CRUST PIZZA! Thank you for your participation in this effort!

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT
Niguel Hills will have Back to School Night this year on Thursday, September 23. This will be a minimum day schedule with students being excused at 12:40 that day. LATE START WILL BE CANCELLED THAT DAY DUE TO MINIMUM DAY SCHEDULE. STUDENTS SHOULD ARRIVE AT 8:45 A.M.
P.E. CLOTHES FOR SALE
If you have not already purchased your P.E. clothes yet, the PTSA will be selling them Thursday (9/9/10) and Friday (9/10/10) in the weight room. The cost is $10.00 for shorts and $10.00 for shirts. Make checks payable to NHMS PTSA.
MAKE UP PICTURE DAY
Make-up pictures will be on September 15th, during P.E. classes in the Performance Room.

SCHOOL SITE COUNCIL LETTER
Parents will be receiving a letter shortly regarding one open position for our school site council. The position is for a term of two years. If you are interested in serving on the school site council, please respond to the letter/application by Monday, September 20, 2010. Our parent election will be held during Back to School Night on Thursday, September 23, 2010. More details about the position are included in the letter.

We are trying to make sure we have correct addresses for all of our students. Your address is printed on the bottom of the schedule you received at orientation this week.
