We would like to remind everyone that school is closed Monday, January 20, 2014 in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. day.  There is no school for all students.  Have a great long weekend!

NHMS CHOIR ICE PALACE EVENT

Come support the NHMS choirs by joining us at the Aliso Viejo Ice Palace on 2/26/14 from 6:15-8pm.  $17 admission includes skate rental and 50% of the admission goes directly to the choir program.  Bring your friends and family for a great time! Don’t forget to say, “I’m here to support the Niguel Hills choirs,” upon admission!

NHMS STUDENTS QUALIFY FOR HONOR ORCHESTRA

The following students from Niguel Hills tried out and qualified for the All Southern Honor Orchestra.

SCSBOA Honor orchestra only takes about 100 string players out of the ENTIRE Southern California DISTRICT, and 5 of our students made it in!!!!

We are very excited that these students have done so well!  Please congratulate them when you see them around campus or in the community.  They are truly talented musicians and are representing our district and our school!

Experience an exciting morning packed with information and tours of CUSD’s newest high school. Learn about the academic, athletic, and performing arts programs. Visit our visual arts classrooms, science labs, performing arts facilities, gymnasium, synthetic football/soccer field, and other athletic facilities.

The Day’s Agenda

· Welcome and Introduction Presentation at 9:30 am in the gym

· Visit Information Booths for Athletics, Clubs, Academic Programs, Performing Arts, Pep Squad, AVID, ASB, PTSA, Parent Boosters and Guidance/Enrollment

· Guided Campus Tours by ASB, AVID & Link Crew students

· Advanced Placement and Accelerated Class Workshops

· Performing Arts Presentations

PE LIMITATIONS FORM

There is now a PE Limitations Form available for download on the NHMS Schoolloop Home Page.  In the event your student cannot fully participate in PE for any period of time, please print the form and bring it with you when you go to your doctor.  The completed form can be turned in to the front office or faxed to 949-249-2069.
