On Saturday, May 10, from 6:00 – 9:00 PM, The Shed Contemporary Art at the Coastal Arcadian, 24471 Ave. Del Prado in Dana Point, invites you to discover her art pieces incorporating found and recycled elements.
It is an opportunity for you to meet and talk with the artist as you enjoy her solo exhibit. On display will be her 3-Dimensional mixed media “TREAD” sculptures, limited edition “Castaway Sand Babies” and a teaser of her stop motion animation film “Rescued”.

A special musical feature by Celtic Harpist, Wendy Tahara will also be highlighted.
This Southern California native began her musical journey at the age of seven, taking classical piano lessons for many years.
She started playing the Celtic harp in 2006 and has performed in Irish festivals, private concerts, and has been featured on the children’s album Say Darlin’ Say.
An active composer and improviser on piano and harp, Wendy’s music has been described as “soulful, evocative, heart-healing, compassionate, soothing, stirring, passionate and thrilling.
Please join us for this magical evening of art and music. Refreshments will be served.

The Shed Contemporary is located within the nostalgic grounds of the Coastal Arcadian in Dana Point (the Greek meaning of Arcadian is rustic, peaceful, simple life).
The lovely gardens within the hidden compound grounds are a place to forget your worries and relax while surrounded by an air of quiet peace and natural serenity and the perfect location for any event.
