FRIDAYS ARE SPECIAL!
Friday is show day and fun day! Fridays begin with dress rehearsals. Following dress rehearsals, the autograph sessions begin! Some use their CSS autograph books others use their tie-dye T-shirts made from the day before. Campers then go to stations to get their hair done for the show, some campers (boys) elect to help get the set & props ready. Campers bring a light lunch because at 3pm there’s the Friday night pizza party! Campers are able to say their good byes to new friends collect emails/phone numbers and enjoy a soda. Make up, hair touch ups and then it’s Showtime! Good luck everyone!

THE CSS CAMP!

A musical theater and adventure camp for kids ages 6 – 13! This is a weekly camp (M-F) 9a.m. – 3p.m. with a convenient Drop off time at 8:30 for parents that need to get to work. A complimentary continental breakfast will be served at that time for Kids on the run including muffins, bagels and orange juice!

Each week campers will celebrate a unique Musical experience with an end of week presentation of our work for family and friends. Campers will also enjoy camp songs, team building exercises, arts & crafts, the movies & a taste of fitness; obstacle course, relays, and more for prizes!

A TYPICAL DAY AT CSS:

Campers enjoy a quick light breakfast. The morning begins with ice breakers and theater games to build acting skills, self esteem and learn about our new friends. Campers then begin rehearsals/instruction on the themed play of the week; they learn blocking, sound and music queues and character work to name a few.

Lunch is at approximately 12 noon every day. Campers bring their own cold lunch. Following lunch, let the games begin!

Campers are divided in groups and work together as a team to compete for prizes. Some of our team-building games include obstacle courses, charades relay, nerf-ball and our famous toilet paper model walk! Sometimes if we are feeling really silly, we have a fun food contest but watch out – it’s messy! All prizes are normally something to be shared by all the campers. For example – “pop-party”! The winners of the game win popsicles for everyone!
