Thank you to those members of the public who provided comment on the Board of Supervisor’s discussion regarding County beaches. Frank Kim, Orange County CEO has directed OC Parks to close the parking lots at Salt Creek, Strands (Selva) and at Capo Beach. The County will be coordinating with Dana Point Harbor Partners on the closures of the lots in the harbor area and the lots located on Puerto Place. Maintaining access for grab-n-go operations for the restaurants is being considered. We don’t have an ETA on the timing of closures, but we expect they will happen by the close of business today, if not sooner.
