Dear Ocean Friends,
The Wyland Foundation is one our of educational partners and we work together to educate school children about their role in preserving our watershed habitats and clean water. One of the areas in which we’re helping Wyland, is with his Clean Water Mobile Learning Center and it has just been nominated by Sempra as an “Environmental Champion” to win $50,000.
We need your vote and help now as the voting ends Thursday, October 29th. The $50,000 award opportunity is for Wyland’s “Clean Water Challenge Mobile Learning Center.
This wonderful mobile classroom is a 1,000 square foot, bio-diesel powered interactive water learning exhibit that can go to any school, event, or community center. The exhibit can be adapted to English or Spanish and features a 40-person theater and five (5) investigation stations that allow students to explore different watershed habitats and the impact people have on these habitats.
We’re proud to be a part of this wonderful project. Your vote for the Wyland Clean Water Mobile Learning Center will help us expand our mission of inspiring school children to the importance of clean water and the ocean.
