Treasure Island is the classic tale of pirates and buried gold. In 1775 from the Admiral Benbow Inn to Skeleton Island in the West Indies; it’s an unforgettable adventure of mayhem and treachery as the young Jim Hawkins falls in with a band of pirates who will do anything to recover Captain Flint’s map and the buried treasure. Directed by Donna Inglima with Fight Choreography by Jo Ann Mendelson.
Auditions will be held in two locations on Friday, March 1 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Positive Energy Dance Center, 22600 – C # 908 Lambert St., Lake Forest and on Saturday, March 2 from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm at Laguna Playhouse (the Brick Room suite 116). Callbacks by invitation will be Sunday, March 3 from Noon to 6 pm at Positive Energy Dance Center, 22600 – C # 908 Lambert St., Lake Forest for fight choreography and readings.
Casting Adults and Youth (ages 12 +) Adults will double roles. This is a large cast show and needs actors with strong language skills, physicality, agility, no fear of heights and a willingness to learn stage combat- rapier, hand to hand, knives, falls, acrobats or have combat experience. Gender fluid casting.

Audition Requirements include one monologue 1.5 min (max) from classical literature or similar. Bring a photo and resume and your schedule as you will complete a conflict sheet.
Ken Ludwig’s TREASURE ISLAND performs April 27 – May 5 at Laguna Playhouse and includes two weekday Student Matinee’s on May 2 & 3. Production rehearses weekday evenings and one day on the weekend.
