The public is invited to lace up its tennis shoes, grab some bottled water and join city officials July 6 for a walk around Aliso Viejo’s Town Center Loop Trail.
The city’s Summer Walking Program celebrates the recent completion of the Town Center Loop Pedestrian Enhancement Project, which is designed to improve the pedestrian experience around Aliso Viejo Town Center. Trail improvements include enhanced pavement, trail maps, signage and monuments at multiple locations on Aliso Creek Road, Aliso Viejo Parkway, Enterprise and Pacific Park Drive.
The program will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. July 6, 13, 20 and 27. The goal is to give people an opportunity to explore and enjoy Aliso Viejo’s Town Center Loop Trail and talk one-on-one with City officials in an informal setting and discuss pertinent issues while getting a dose of exercise.
Participants are encouraged to park and meet at 6:15 p.m. in front of the On the Border restaurant. The restaurant, located in Aliso Viejo Town Center near Enterprise, is at 26661 Aliso Creek Road.
