Wheelchair tennis exhibit at Cordillera Elementary School set for Nov. 1

Date:

Mission Viejo, CA – Get a sneak peek of the exhilarating UNIQLO Wheelchair Doubles Masters Tournament during a special 30-minute demonstration on Tuesday, November 1 at Cordillera Elementary School.

Just after the school bell rings at 2:30 p.m., top wheelchair tennis players will showcase the sport on the blacktop at 25952 Cordillera Drive. The players will be in action before the weeklong Doubles Masters tournament kicks off on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at the Marguerite Tennis Pavilion.

Along with Cordillera Elementary, all Mission Viejo schools will have the chance to show their school pride at the tournament on Friday, Nov. 4. The “Friday Night Lights” theme is designed to encourage schools to demonstrate their support for the sport by wearing school memorabilia and rooting for their favorite player. The classroom with the largest attendance will win a free pizza party.
