On November 12th the Boys & Girls Club Programs in Lake Forest will be holding its 3rd Annual Tour del Toro race. Funds raised through the event will be benefiting the Programs that are served to youth members who participate the Lake Forest Programs.
The event encompasses a 25 mile bike ride for all levels with flats and mild hills, a more advanced 50 mile bicycle race is available for advance bikers. Along with the bike events, everyone can register for the community 5k run/walk, 10k run or, kids 12 and under, can experience the 1k fun run and family-friendly Bicycle Safety Rodeo to promote safe cycling.
“Tour del Toro allows us to generate funds for the Boys & Girls Club Programs in Lake Forest, who provides a safe place for learning and fitness for hundreds of local children. Being able to further contribute to their good work benefits our community as a whole.”, said Terry Anderson, Chair of this year’s Tour del Toro. Registration for Tour del Toro will be open until November 11th.
