The Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach is excited to announce and welcome their new Volunteer Coordinator, Leah Generoli. Leah comes from the Club’s partnership with OneOC’s AmeriCorps Volunteer Infrastructure Project Program.
She will be taking over the tasks of former Volunteer Coordinator, Andrew Kincare who is now doing his graduate studies at UC San Diego. Leah took interest and applied for Volunteer Management with AmeriCorps earlier this year and was matched with the opportunity to come on board and help manage local volunteers at the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach. Leah is very excited to be working with the Club and hopes to continue to increase volunteer engagement at the Club.
With a passion to help others and goals of planning to work long-term in non-profit, it’s a no-brainer that Leah is a perfect addition to the organization. “Getting the chance to work with the Boys & Girls Club is an amazing opportunity!”, said Leah Generoli. She adds, “Laguna Beach is a new area for me, and I can’t wait to build new relationships with individuals and businesses here in Laguna and surrounding areas.
My goals are to continue bringing community awareness, educate individuals and businesses with our Club’s mission, and most importantly give everyone the opportunity to volunteer and be part of this amazing organization!”. If you would like to learn more about volunteer opportunities, or sign-up to volunteer at the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach, please contact Leah Generoli at (949) 494-2535 x7942, or e-mail at leahg@bgclaguna.org.
