Golden State Water Company (GSWC) to host free high-efficiency toilet giveaway
In response to the current drought and limited water supplies, Golden State Water Company (GSWC) will be hosting a free high-efficiency toilet giveaway on Saturday, August 8, 2009, starting at 8:00 p.m. at the Cypress Civic Center, 5275 Orange Avenue. Toilets are limited to a maximum of two toilets per customer.
The event is open to GSWC single-family residential customers who live in Orange County. Customers must bring a current water bill and a photo ID to pick up the toilets. To confirm eligibility and to register for your new high-efficiency toilets, please call 1-800-831-8383, x 9302. Customers must call to reserve their toilets. Representatives will be available weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Also, customers must not have participated in a toilet rebate program in the past or received a free toilet from Golden State Water Company.
Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Customers participating must return their old toilets on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Cypress Civic Center, 5275 Orange Ave. Existing toilets must be 3.5 gallon or higher for exchanges.
