Aliso Viejo
The city is now accepting applications for its next Citizens’ Leadership Academy, which begins Sept. 10.
The city offers the free academy as a vehicle for residents and business owners to learn about the city’s municipal operations and services. The class aims to improve awareness and understanding of the community.
The free six-week leadership academy, which holds about 20 participants, will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursdays through Oct. 15 at City Hall, 12 Journey.
The academy, which is open to community members 18 years of age and older, fills up fast – so people are encouraged to signup early.
To register for the Citizens’ Leadership Academy, which includes fun classes offered in a light-hearted setting, or for more information, contact Director of Administrative Services Glenn Yasui at 949-425-2511 or by e-mail at gyasui@cityofalisoviejo.com. Information is also available on the city’s Web site at www.cityofalisoviejo.org.
