Dana Point, CALIF., – The Ocean Institute is offering two more Catalina Island Snorkeling Cruises on August 1 & 15, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
The cruise is a day-long trip onboard the R/V Sea Explorer featuring snorkeling, catch-and-release fishing and a BBQ dinner off the beautiful coast of Catalina Island.
San Clemente Island Snorkeling Trip – And, specially added in 2009, there will be a snorkeling trip to San Clemente Island on Saturday, August 29, 8 a.m.- 8:30 p.m. Participants will make a rare 50-mile trip to the pristine waters off San Clemente Island which, due to its location, gets few visitors.
The island is a military compound, so participants are not allowed to go onshore and some areas may be restricted due to military exercises.
