With the temperature soaring and summer in full swing, the Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center has been attracting people of all ages seeking refuge from the heat, a healthy dose of exercise and tons of recreational fun.
Moms’ playgroups; lap swimmers of all ages; youth water polo; members of the Aliso Viejo Boys and Girls Club; kids celebrating their birthdays; and folks relaxing under cool cabanas have continued to flock to the Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center since it made its public debut in May.
With a 25-meter pool, recreation pool, splash pad and toddler wading pool, the facility is becoming “the place to be” in town day or night.
The pool is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday; and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
The city’s resort-style swimming complex at 29 Santa Barbara is open through Labor Day, so don’t delay in booking your pool party or other special event.
The Aquatic Center is conveniently located at Aliso Creek Road and Glenwood Drive, near the golf course.
