“Annie”
No Audition Needed
prior to class!
Dear parents, friends & students,
I would like to clarify the “audition” process here at the studio. We have so many new friends and families that have come through our theater this summer and recently, we have gotten a few calls about “having to audition” for Annie with a monologue! You do not!
The auditions last Saturday were only for THE ELITE class which is a class designed for the advanced performers and students considering a career in performing arts. It is a lot harder, more is expected and dances are more advanced.
All CSS Musical Theater classes do not require you to audition before the start of class. The regular semester is very much like camp where we take the first two weeks to get to know everyone, sing a bit, act out a part of the script and then get our parts on week 3! This is all done in a safe, warm and caring environment!
I hope this cleared up any misunderstandings and we look forward to seeing you this fall for our fantastic production of “Annie”!
PS – WE JUST GOT THE LICENSING!
Onward & Upward,
Miss Tracey
Creative Director!
