The Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center will celebrate Labor Day by offering guests free daylong activities and a reduced fee to visit the facility that became the hub of summer fun in town.
In honor of Labor Day and the facility’s last day in operation for the season, the Aquatic Center will host free games and activities from noon to 6 p.m. on Sept. 7. Visitors to the pool will pay a reduced fee of $3 to enjoy the pristine facility that caters to people of all ages.
Aerobics games and Polo scrimmages will be free that day, and guests will enjoy swimming relay races; crafts; a water balloon toss; coloring contest; limbo and hula contests; sack races; soccer scrimmage; and more. Different activities take place every half hour from noon to 5:30 p.m.
The pool is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday; and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
The city’s resort-style swimming complex is at 29 Santa Barbara.
The Aquatic Center is conveniently located at Aliso Creek Road and Glenwood Drive, near the golf course.
