Are you a crafter, artist or are intrigued by learning new creative techniques? If yes, you must attend the free Glass Craft Open House at Coatings by Sandberg (CBS) in Orange on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The free event is sponsored by the Southern California Chapter of the Association for Creative Industries (AFCI) and CBS to introduce the magical versatility of working with and incorporating glass into any art form.
During the Glass Craft Open House visitors will see live glass art demonstrations by artist James Stone and can experience working with kiln glass on a first come basis (must be over 18 years of age with a signed release). Visitors can also learn about new products and craft ideas from top craft manufacturers like: Bullseye Glass, Screen-It-On, Etchall, Judikins, and Streuter Technologies.
All ages are invited to attend to learn fresh ideas on using crafting tools or materials to design with glass and best of all… mingle with other creative thinkers!
The Association for Creative Industries (AFCI) Southern California Chapter (formerly the Craft & Hobby Association) is a local and international organization of creative industries, designers, artists, and crafters.
